Southern California Fun

Day 1:

We arrived in Southern California on Monday afternoon and immediately went to Newport Beach. The water was extremely warm. It was a great afternoon for all of the family from playing catch, catching waves and even chasing birds. The kids absolutely love the beach and the water. We will have to take a vacation to just come and have fun at the beach. Anyone in?

Day 2
Today we went to Disneyland. We arrived at the opening and left at the closing. We rode every single ride you can imagine. We rode them all more than once. We even got Logan on Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and all the big kid rides. The kids had a blast. We literally rode all day long. There were almost no lines and the weather was awesome. We wore them out and ourselves. What a fun day for everyone. Colton had his first experience with rides and fun. He laughed and smiled all day. He loved the carousel just as each of the kids have over the years.

Day 3
Today we spent our time at California Adventure. We were a bit nervous because many of the rides are a bit larger and Tyler and Logan were barely tall enough to ride some. Tyler and I had ridden the largest roller coaster 2 times in the first 15 minutes of the park opening. Kennedy and mom road it a couple of times right after that. Logan was not tall enough but would have gone. We then rode many other rides for all the family before hitting the Hollywood Tower of Terror. Yes, Logan even rode that one twice. He came down crying after the first attempt and went right back up for another. What a trooper and a brave kid. Those huge drops are pretty nerve racking for adults. He held on like a champ. We rode the wild rapids ride many, many, many, many times. There was literally no line. We walked up and went right on every time. The kids did not want to stop. We all got soaked over and over again. Another great day for all of us. Lots of laughter and screams of joy by everyone. We left tired and wet. One more day to go. See you later.
